Freebies: Masked Monsters

Cleaning out my drawers made me scan these two, and i thought with this ingenious noggin of mine: "Heh, maybe someone would want them on their wall as well, im such a good lass." That was a nice ego boost there :D Joke aside tho, these two monsters are totes free and you can grab them over here for the blue one and here for the pink one!

Please do not remove my name from them, or use them for any personal gain. that would be a bit of a bummer :< Other than that you are free to plaster them on any wall or make them into cards to give as gifts as much as you want :D Have fun!

I've been a clingy frequent over at noisetrade.com ever since i first picked up the scent of free music! And what gems it has to offer, i cant even! "Chekmedje" is a tiny little shop that sells delish muffins, serves your water in hand-made, holder-less mugs, with all the vibrant hats you can feast your eyes upon.

The kind ladies and creators at the shop were sweet enough to give a show room to some of my framed minions, themed to fit the knittiness of the place. I'm so so happy ;v; 

Hatuary

Right, right? Just me? I'll show myself out ;v; So i've been a mini hat manufacturing place the past week or so, making at least one hat a day! Praise me, praise me!

Thanks grandma, for letting me steal all your yarn. Thanks university, for not getting in my way of knitting. Thanks carpel tunnel syndrome, for not kicking in. So much to be thankful for :D

the Fox and the Crow

... or how it's absolutely not the same familiar fable and instead a happy tale for both of them. This was a story board assignment for one of my animation classes. I love the freedom they give us to work our thing and change stuff how we like. So pleased ;v;

Early Christmas Cards

No its not early really, im just a slacker by nature. It's its better this way for my guilt to not show up later, when my dad's eyes gleam in expectation of a christmas card. I'm such a nice daughter :D 

These buggers are fairly easy to make. Grab a buncha acrylic paint and smudge it into poorly done circles. With this indian ink, paint a bucha branches and add some character to the snowmen with dashing eyebrows that imply the snow men have something in store for the recipient.

Also did these little loves, with one of them turning especially creepy, with that big lifeless stare that only i can mess up. Oh well, merry christmas?  

DIY: Navajo Phone Case

Because its autumn-y and i wanted to make something with warm colors. For this easy shmeasy DIY you'll need a buncha things you probs already have: 

• a bunch of perler beads in colors you fancy
• a cheap phone case
• strong adhesive or a hot glue gun
• patience 

Play with the beadies, and choose a pattern that speaks to you on an intellectual level. Congratulations the most tedious part is almost done! Take a sip of coffee and fret a bit more. Also don't make any sudden movements or get excited too much.

Finished? Gewd. Mind the little gap for the camera and smush the thingie with your fave heat source (preferably a clothes iron). Now align your newest treasure to the case and glue to your heart's content. 

And presto manifesto, you're done! Marvel at your new most precious thing and go and make the same Christmas gift for your entire family tree. Yea, it's that good! Hope you liked this :D
